A Statement Regarding Foundation Nightclub

Posted: Friday, August 10th, 2018

Over the past 48 hours, a lot of disturbing allegations related to Foundation Nightclub have been reported in the media. Everyone at USC Events is as shocked as the rest of the community by what is being reported. We know many of you look to USC to set the standard for the dance community in the Northwest and trust us to provide welcoming and safe environments. As you know we’ve been working hard on this for years.

Because we host events at Foundation, we understand that some of you are concerned. Make no mistake, the activities alleged are unacceptable. There is no excuse for the actions of those who jeopardize the safety of our friends and patrons. USC Events does not tolerate such actions. The safety of every attendee remains our first priority and we will redouble our efforts on programs like the Conscious Crew, our zero tolerance policies, and our coordination with local and state authorities.

If you have been impacted by these events, please know that we are here for you and that we are not ok with what has been going on. If you are hurting about what has transpired, reach out to a friend, someone you met at a show, or even message us directly and talk about it. We are here for you and want to make sure your voice is heard.

To our fans, thank you for your patience while we worked to find solutions for our events that were originally being held at Foundation Nightclub. Moving forward, the majority of our nightlife events will be relocated to Aston Manor. Any of our events not moving to Aston Manor will either be canceled or the artist will be moved to one of our upcoming festivals. You will now begin to see event pages updated with new event information or canceled. All tickets purchased for events that are being relocated will still be honored. If a show you have tickets for has been canceled a full refund will be issued in the coming weeks. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with questions/concerns at [email protected]

Given recent events, we are doubling down on our promise to provide safe spaces for everyone to enjoy the music and dance until their heart’s content. We will be taking additional steps to ensure everyone who attends our events at this new location feels like they are safe in an inviting environment.

Thank you for your patience and continued support. We hope to see you on the dance floor soon.
